3. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 11 – Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet

We talked about Kmet in this space last week after his two-touchdown performance in a loss against the Miami Dolphins. Kmet is officially on a heater after another dynamic effort in Chicago’s close loss to the Detroit Lions and should attract even more attention from fantasy owners.

Justin Fields continues to go to Kmet as his preferred target and the results were beautiful in Week 10. Kmet was targeted seven times by Fields and caught four of them for 74 yards and two more touchdowns, giving him five spikes over the past three weeks.

Finding that kind of contribution from the tight end spot is rare in fantasy as sure-fire starters beyond the position’s top three options are hard to come by. Kmet is playing himself into TE1 status and is working alongside fantasy’s hottest quarterback in Fields so he has become a must-start as long as Fields is cooking with gas.

There is still an opportunity to buy in on Kmet, who entered the week and rostered in 59 percent of Yahoo! leagues. That window won’t exist after Kmet’s latest big effort so this is effectively the last call on the young Bears’ tight end.
