2. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 11 – Kansas City Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney

The talent has always been there with Toney, a former first-round pick of the New York Giants, but his practice habits and inability to stay on the field led New York to give up on him. Kansas City bought in on Toney’s ability, giving up two draft picks to land the young wide receiver, and their investment is starting to pay dividends.

Toney’s speed was on full display in the Chiefs’ 27-17 win over the hapless Jacksonville Jaguars. Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid cooked up plenty of ways for Toney to get the football as he caught 4-of-5 targets for 57 yards and a touchdown while also rushing twice for 33 yards.

There are plenty of mouths to feed on the Kansas City offense but having a player with Toney’s ability working alongside Patrick Mahomes is something Reid will love. Marquez Valdes-Scantling also left this game early with a concussion, which could open an even bigger role for Toney if MVS has to miss Week 11.

Plenty of fantasy owners made speculative pickups on Toney, who is available in 50 percent of Yahoo! leagues, after the move to Kansas City. No competitive league should have Toney available on the waiver wire so scoop him up as a flex option if Toney is available in your league.
