4. Gus Edwards & Kenyan Drake, RBs, Baltimore Ravens (vs. CAR)

Whether it’s been Gus Edwards or Kenyan Drake starting in Baltimore’s backfield, the position for the Ravens has been solid for fantasy football. With a potent rushing offense like the Ravens’, the rushing touchdown potential is higher than other teams who struggle to move the ball.

Last week with Edwards out, Drake finished as the overall RB4 in PPR scoring. In Edwards’ Week 7 return, he was the RB10 that week. The Ravens prioritize running the ball, and their running backs have benefitted from it.

This week, Baltimore plays the 25th-ranked Panthers run defense, which will certainly be exploited by the second-ranked Ravens rushing offense. Expect the Ravens to emphasize the run game, which will make things easy for both Edwards and Drake. Edwards will likely get the nod as the starter if he’s active, but this game could see both backs in action and being fantasy-relevant.
