2. NFL Teams That Should Be On Upset Alert In Week 11 – Cincinnati Bengals

The AFC Wild Card hunt is a complete mess, and the Cincinnati Bengals currently find themselves on the outside looking in. There has been plenty of inconsistent play from the reigning AFC Champions, which has left them needing help to catch up to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North and the entire AFC East in the Wild Card race.

Things trended up for Cincinnati in Week 9 as Joe Mixon exploded for a career-high five touchdowns to help the Bengals blow out the Carolina Panthers. The emergence of the running game was also critical since Ja’Marr Chase was sidelined with a hip injury, although Cincinnati is hoping he will be back shortly after their bye, which came last week.

It remains to be seen if Chase will be back in Week 11, but the Bengals are still favored by five on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It has been a bad year for Pittsburgh, but Mike Tomlin’s team picked up a home win against New Orleans last week. The team also had a victory over the Bengals back in Week 1, where they picked off Joe Burrow four times.

Going on the road for a divisional game is never easy, and the Steelers likely view a sweep of the Bengals as their path back to playoff contention this season. This is a dangerous spot for Cincinnati, which cannot afford a loss against a team they are clearly better than at this stage of the season.
