Nathaniel Hackett feels like a one-and-done, as his team is underperforming

Although some of the heat has come off Nathaniel Hackett a bit in recent weeks, the first-time head coach of the Denver Broncos has been consistently the worst at his job throughout the league all year long. Sloppy, unprepared and directionless is no way to navigate one’s first season on the job from the big chair. All the while, Broncos Country is suffering throughout the process.

Given that Hackett and general manager George Paton were hired by the previous ownership group, the Waltons have no sentimental attachment to the current state of the Broncos. They bought this team to win games, something the Broncos have not done often enough over the last half-decade. They are poised to have the longest active playoff drought by the end of the season.

More than one head coach could go one-and-done, but look for Hackett to maybe be one of them.

Josh McDaniels. 1. player. Scouting Report. (2-7). Pick Analysis. Las Vegas Raiders. 28

I don’t care how poor the Las Vegas Raiders are, get a new head coach, please!

It does not matter how poor the Las Vegas Raiders are, what is this?! Owner Mark Davis blew a golden opportunity to hire an ace special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia to the gig full time. The Raiders players responded to him during last season’s postseason run. Now, the Silver and Black are looking more and more like an unmitigated disaster under new head coach Josh McDaniels.

When the P.F. Chang’s doesn’t work, this is what happens. Somehow, someway, the Raiders lost at home to the Colts being led by (checks notes) Jeff Saturday as the interim head coach. Saturday winning on Sunday was something we were not ready for, but here we are. The only thing keeping McDaniels in a job right now is how much money he is owed. Davis done fudged up big time, guys.

Only the Raiders could take something promise and find a way to completely screw it up like this.
