4. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 12 – Washington Commanders TE Logan Thomas

Any fantasy football owner with experience knows how hard it is to find adequate production at tight end. The game’s elites, like Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews, always find a way to deliver but the rest can often struggle for consistency on a week-to-week basis.

One tight end that is on the rise is Washington’s Logan Thomas, who is rounding back into form after missing several weeks with a rib injury. Thomas put together a strong effort in Week 11, catching 5-of-6 targets for 65 yards in the Commanders’ 23-10 win over the Houston Texans.

While Terry McLaurin remains the top pass catcher in Washington, Thomas is carving out a nice secondary role in the offense. Thomas was targeted 20 times in four games prior to getting hurt so it is clear that Washington feels he can add quite a bit to the offense.

There is a good opportunity to add Thomas, who is rostered in just six percent of Yahoo! leagues, ahead of the Commanders’ Week 12 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. Teams in need of help at tight end can view Thomas as a worthy streamer at the position.
