3. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 12 – Baltimore Ravens WR Demarcus Robinson

The beauty of playing fantasy football is that breakout performances can come from literally anywhere. The Baltimore Ravens proved this fact in Week 11 by turning Demarcus Robinson into one of the week’s top-scoring wide receivers.

Most are familiar with Robinson from his time in Kansas City, where he was one of Patrick Mahomes’ secondary pass catchers before departing for the Queen City in the offseason. Robinson exploded for his best game in years in Week 11, catching all nine targets thrown his direction for 128 yards in Baltimore’s 13-3 win over the Carolina Panthers.

While the numbers are by far the best Robinson has posted this season, he has quietly been getting more involved in the Ravens’ offense, receiving at least four targets in each of his last four games played. Baltimore also has an opening in its starting lineup with Rashod Bateman out for the season so Robinson’s expanded role may be here to stay.

Robinson entered Week 11 rostered in just four percent of Yahoo! leagues but that should skyrocket after this performance. The Ravens take on Jacksonville’s suspect secondary in Week 12 so another huge outing could be in the cards for Robinson, who should be fired up as a WR3 candidate this week.
