The Jets had an extra week to prepare (as did the Patriots) for this divisional rematch. The Green and White had dropped 13 straight in this series (by a combined score of 400-150) entering Sunday’s clash.

New York gained a mere 103 total yards but Robert Saleh’s defense kept the Pats’ offense out of the end zone and sacked Mac Jones six times. But the Jets’ special teams gave up an 85-yard punt return for a score with just five seconds to play.

Joe Burrow and company returned from their time off and headed to Pittsburgh looking to avenge a Week 1 loss to the Steelers. The young quarterback overcame a pair of interceptions by throwing for 355 yards and four scores – three to running back Samaje Perine.

With Ja’Marr Chase out, Tee Higgins had a big outing with nine grabs for 148 yards. Zac Taylor’s club rolled up 408 total yards as the team won at Pittsburgh for the second consecutive year.

The 49ers traveled to Mexico City in what was a Monday night home game for the rival Arizona Cardinals. The San Francisco defense was in peak form as they finished the evening with three sacks and a pair of takeaways.

But the night belonged to the Niners’ balanced attack. The club ran for 159 yards, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 228 yards and four touchdowns and was not sacked. And Kyle Shanahan’s team did not turn over the football.
