2023 NFL Mock Draft: Houston revamps offense in top-10
The Houston Texans hold two top-10 picks in 2023, and after picking their new franchise quarterback at No. 1 overall, they get him a weapon here. This is the selection they got from the Deshaun Watson trade, and with Watson back, we could see more wins from the Cleveland Browns, making this a later pick in round one.
However, for now, this is pick No. 7 overall, and with it, they decide to go with Ohio State star wide receiver, Jaxon Smith-Njigba. There are other first-round wideouts in this class, but when all is said and done, I believe Smith-Njigba will emerge as WR1 of the group.
Switching from Mitchell Trubisky to Kenny Pickett, everyone figured this could be a down year for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Head coach Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season in his career, but going into Week 12, that looks like a real possibility.
At pick No. 8 overall, the Steelers bring in some help for star edge rusher TJ Watt, adding Clemson defensive end Myles Murphy. This is a kid with incredible motor and outstanding skills coming off the edge, making him a real top-10 threat next April.
