2023 NFL Mock Draft: Houston revamps offense in top-10
The Atlanta Falcons are very much alive in the NFC South race but will need a strong finish to the season to be a legitimate playoff contender. Marcus Mariota has done a nice job in his first season as the team’s starting quarterback, but problems along the offensive line remain.
Broderick Jones is an offensive tackle that I believe will go in the top half of the first round, and he would help fix a big-time issue upfront. If Mariota is to succeed in Atlanta, he must be kept upright, and Jones helps them do that immediately.
The Los Angeles Chargers are another franchise that could have major changes coming this offseason, as Sean Payton appears to be eyeing the head coaching job in LaLa Land. The truth is, this team has way too much talent to be losing at the rate they do, and Justin Herbert has yet to accomplish any real winning so far under Brandon Staley and company.
On offense, the Chargers are loaded, as the real issues with this team are on defense. Bryan Bresee is arguably the best interior defensive lineman in this draft class, and if he is available at No. 16 overall, he will be a steal for the Bolts.
