NFL Teams That Should Be On Upset Alert In Week 12 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Week 11 was a quiet one for the Buccaneers, who were on bye after their win over the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL’s first game in Germany. Things looked dire for Tampa Bay just three weeks ago as they were trailing the Los Angeles Rams at home in a de facto elimination game but a late comeback appears to have salvaged the season for Tom Brady’s team.

The two victories have allowed Tampa Bay to reclaim first place in the mediocre NFC South, which the Buccaneers lead by a half-game over the Atlanta Falcons. The problem is that neither win featured an inspiring performance from the Buccaneers, who look like an old team that is on its last legs.

Tampa Bay hits the road again in Week 12 as 3.5-point favorites against the Cleveland Browns, who have just one game left with Jacoby Brissett under center before Deshaun Watson returns against Houston next week. Brissett played very well in Week 11, throwing for over 300 yards against the Buffalo Bills’ vaunted defense, and will be highly motivated to put another good effort on tape before ceding the starting role.

Cleveland is also far more talented than its 3-7 record indicates, making this a very tough game for the Buccaneers if they take it lightly. Todd Bowles’ team will need to put together a more complete game to avoid giving the Browns a chance to pull an upset that would put the NFC South more in jeopardy.
