2. Kansas City Chiefs

Obviously, the possibility of Odell Beckham Jr. giving the Kansas City Chiefs another receiving option for Patrick Mahomes is enticing, particularly given the fact that the team might need such a thing with injuries to Mecole Hardman, JuJu Smith-Schuster and newcomer Kadarius Toney affecting the pass-catching corps.

Beckham would be a phenomenal fit with the Chiefs in this offense, though. His versatility as a player coupled with the stylings of Andy Reid and Eric Bienemy would have magical potential in itself. But when you also factor in the attention that a player like Travis Kelce demands from the defense, that only further opens things up for OBJ to possibly thrive.

Again, this is very much about picking nits between some of these teams but you could easily make the case for the Chiefs as the best option. Perhaps the only thing hurting them is the ultra-competitiveness of the AFC, which is why they come in at No. 2 in these rankings.

1. Dallas Cowboys

By far the most vocal team in the pursuit of Odell Beckham Jr. has been the Dallas Cowboys. Whether it’s been team owner Jerry Jones, quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliott, Defensive Player of the Year candidate Micah Parsons, or a number of others on the team, they have spoken openly about wanting to get the wide receiver on the roster.

Since the return of Prescott from his Week 1 hand injury, though, the Cowboys have been arguably the best offense in the NFL. Particularly over the past two weeks with dominant wins over the Vikings and Giants, Dallas looks like it might be competing with the rival Eagles as the class of the NFC, especially with the way the defense has also performed all year.

Beckham’s services could make this team near-unstoppable, though. Pairing him with weapons like CeeDee Lamb and Tony Pollard along with pieces such as Zeke and Michael Gallup could create something special. And with the way the Cowboys are already performing, OBJ could be the addition that would pave the receiver’s clearest path to another Super Bowl.
