Odell Beckham Jr. left the door open for a resolution to his free agency ending in Kansas City with the Chiefs in a Tweet toward a fan this morning.

Reportedly, Odell Beckham Jr.’s search for a new team is down to three teams that he plans to visit in person. That list contains the Giants and Cowboys, who were well-known as likely suitors for Beckham, and the Bills who have been speculatively connected but now confirmed as a team he will visit alongside New York and Dallas.

Beckham was a teammate of Von Miller who signed with the Orchard Park-located team over the offseason.

That doesn’t mean the chase is off and locked to those three teams, though, and a sly Tweet toward a fan on Sunday indicated that the right offer could get the Chiefs back in it.

In response to a hopeful Chiefs fan Tweeting at OBJ to consider Kansas City, Beckham said the team was welcome to send him an offer, and then they can talk.

This could be indicative that Beckham is only visiting teams who have given him an offer to his liking, though it’s not necessarily confirmation. It’s been reported that Beckham received offers prior to Thanksgiving.

The Chiefs traded with the Giants to get receiver Kadarius Toney before the trade deadline, which tempered the excitement toward the possibility of adding Beckham. Toney, however, hasn’t been a complete game-changer, getting just eight targets in three games with KC, yet to score a touchdown.

Though OBJ is a bit past his prime, he proved last year with the Los Angeles Rams that he still can contribute to a winning team, winning a Super Bowl with Los Angeles and contributing at a high level along the way. Beckham scored one of LA’s touchdowns in the title game.
