1. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 13 – New York Jets QB Mike White

When the stadium is chanting your name, it’s usually a sign that you’ve had a good day. Mike White, already a popular folk hero for Jets fans, delivered the team’s best passing performance of the season in a driving rainstorm against the Chicago Bears.

The Jets’ quarterback change paid off in spades as White completed 22-of-28 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-10 rout of the Bears. White took full advantage of New York’s talented supporting cast, completing passes to 10 different receivers as he executed Mike LaFleur’s offense to perfection.

Head coach Robert Saleh previously indicated that the plan was for Zach Wilson to return as the starter at some point but White’s dominant outing should put those plans on hold for a while. The Jets’ offense is loaded with playmakers and White is a bit like a poor man’s version of Jimmy Garoppolo, who isn’t the most athletically gifted player but one who can succeed in the structure of the system.

New York heads to Minnesota in Week 13 to take on a Vikings’ defense that was just carved up for 382 yards by Mac Jones on Thanksgiving. White, who is rostered in just 4 percent of leagues, can be safely fired up as a QB1 in that matchup for any team struggling to find an answer at the position.
