3 Braves trades to make at the MLB Winter Meetings

2. Braves and White Sox can help each other with a trade at the Winter Meetings
Many of the same names apply in a potential Braves trade with the Chicago White Sox. They could use a few improvements to their roster. Second base has been a major hole for them. Albies or Grissom could be options for the White Sox if Atlanta was willing to deal either.
The White Sox also have a bit of a mess behind the plate. Yasmani Grandal isn’t living up to his contract. Sending them d’Arnaud can help improve the situation slightly. Grandal could always become a DH if he starts to hit more.
Exactly what would Atlanta want from them? The White Sox do have a couple of young players they could potentially move. Eloy Jimenez, Luis Robert, and Andrew Vaughn would all be outfield candidates for the Braves. The White Sox have already lost Jose Abreu in free agency which could make them a little less tempted to move any of those three.
The White Sox would also have plenty of interest in any of the younger Braves pitchers. Even Ian Anderson could be someone to send to Chicago. Anderson seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle or the pitching staff. He has a long way to go before Brian Snitker can trust him again.
There might not be any single perfect trade these two teams could make to help each other out. It’s still worth a conversation. Liam Hendriks wouldn’t look bad in a Braves uniform.
