Carlos Rodón going to NL West rival Los Angeles Dodgers would devastate Giants fans

If there is one locale Rodon were to go to that would devastate the San Francisco fanbase, it would be that of their NL West division rival, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers are reportedly in contact with the top free agent starting pitcher Justin Verlander. The Dodgers are expected to go into the 2023 season with Clayton Kershaw, Julio Urias, and Tony Gonsolin at the very least.  The club could use an innings-eating lefty in Rodón. In addition to starting pitching, the Dodgers have other items on their wishlist, including shortstop and outfield.

The Dodgers are another one of those teams that could pay Rodón the payday he’s expected to earn as well as net top players at shortstop and outfield.  Just the fact that LA could make such a splash is enough to break the hearts of many Giants fans.
