6. J.K. Dobbins, Baltimore Ravens

Could J.K. Dobbins return this week? He’s been designated to return from injured reserve, and has reportedly looked good in practice. With the Baltimore Ravens offense sort of sputtering at the moment, Dobbins could bring a much-needed spark to go along with Lamar Jackson’s explosiveness.

Dobbins’ return will muddy up a Ravens backfield that already includes Gus Edwards, Kenyan Drake, and Justice Hill, but he’ll likely reassume starting duties upon his return. If he’s activated before Week 13, he deserves FLEX consideration, even against Denver’s decent run defense.

5. Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons’ running back situation has been strange this year, as even Avery Williams (their fourth-string back) is receiving meaningful carries in games. One constant, however, is that Tyler Allgeier will get the ball frequently.

Allgeier’s 121 carries rank fifth among rookie running backs this season, and he’s cemented himself as a mainstay in the Falcons backfield. If you’re looking for surefire volume at the position, Allgeier is an option — though he may need a touchdown to have a reasonably good fantasy day.
