The Jets had already notched interconference wins over the Packers and Bears and looked to add the NFC North leaders to their list of victories. Robert Saleh’s club was down 20-3 in the second quarter and kept settling for field goals.

Mike White wound up throwing for 369 yards and New York gained 486 yards of offense. His one-yard TD plunge and a PAT narrowed the deficit to five points. But his second interception of the game was very costly.

Off a tough home loss to the Bengals, the Titans headed north to Philadelphia to face the team with the best record in the league. Mike Vrabel’s club wound up being no match for the well-schooled Eagles.

All told, the AFC South leaders gave up more than twice as many total yards (453) as they gained (209). Derrick Henry was limited to only 30 yards on 11 carries. Meanwhile, the Titans’ secondary had no answers for former teammate A.J. Brown.

After two consecutive losses, Pete Carroll’s team was hoping to get back on track when they faced the Rams in Los Angeles. The Seahawks trailed early, took the lead and fell behind late in the fourth quarter.

Down 23-20 with 2:56 remaining, Geno Smith responded in a big way. He had both of Seattle’s two turnovers but finished the afternoon with 367 yards passing and three scores – the last an eight-yard TD strikes to D.K. Metcalf with 36 seconds to play.
