I mean, come on, it’s Vegas.

Las Vegas had a unique challenge ahead of itself when it attempted to take a non-traditional hockey town and turn it into a hockey haven. Thanks to an over-the-top presentation both on live TV and in person, excellent placement of the arena and a successful team on the ice, the city has far exceeded expectations.

The arena is located right on the Vegas Strip behind the New York casino hotel. It frequently is used as either the nightcap to a great day in Vegas or the start of an all-night party, as it comes with plenty of nearby places to either pre-game or post-game.

On the side of the arena facing the Strip, there are neon signs, huge videoboards and a huge plaza right outside of the venue, automatically drawing your attention even if all you’re doing is driving by.

Inside, the arena has regularly been complimented on its comfortable seating with plenty of legroom as well as its A-plus food selection including a Shake Shack and even more amazing hot dogs.
