Warriors best trade targets: Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers

Myles Turner is a really interesting option because while he is a surely capable rim protector and rebounder, he also has abilities as a beyond-the-arc shooter. He’s a modernized center who has been stuck in Indiana for years back to the Victor Oladipo and Nate McMillan era.

Quietly, Turner is having his best shooting year yet, hitting 41.6 percent of his attempts beyond the arc. Remarkably, though he’s extended his game further away from the rim, his 8.1 rebounds per game would be the best in a single season of his entire career.

He’s exactly what the Warriors need, but he feels somewhat destined to go to the Lakers.

Thanks to his abilities on both ends of the ball and how he would fit with the Warriors need to space the ball, he is a slightly better option than Poeltl.
