10 RB sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 14
4. James Cook, Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills rookie runner James Cook had the best game of his career last week, rushing 14 times for 64 yards, while adding 41 yards on six catches through the air. He out-touched and out-performed Devin Singletary in what may be a sign of things to come for the Bills backfield.
The Bills have a tough game against the New York Jets this week, and will likely rely on all of their offensive weapons to ensure a big divisional victory. There’s no reason to believe Cook should return to a reserve role after his solid Week 13 game, making him an interesting PPR option.
3. Kenyan Drake, Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens backfield has been quite a mess when the majority of them are healthy and active. Last week, it was Kenyan Drake who led the Ravens running backs in carries and yards, out-carrying and out-gaining Gus Edwards. Drake has looked like the overall most talented back on this team and may be relied upon more with Lamar Jackson banged up.
This week, the Ravens face a sneakily-stingy Pittsburgh Steelers run defense, meaning all of their upsides will be capped if this backfield remains a multiple back committee. However, Drake has the most talent, and the better chance to emerge as the lead back this week yet again.
