10 RB sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 14
2. Zonovan Knight, New York Jets
Even though Michael Carter is set to return this week, and has sleeper upside, Zonovan Knight has arrived for the Jets in a major way. He’s risen to RB1 duties over guys like James Robinson and Ty Johnson. He’s had back-to-back top-14 fantasy finishes, and makes the most out of the volume he’s getting, which seems to be increasing.
The Jets have a huge game against the Buffalo Bills this week, and will surely be chasing points. Knight will see plenty of run regardless of Carter’s health, and will likely lead the running game in Mike White’s revitalized Jets offense. He should be in starting lineups this week.
1. Travis Homer, Seattle Seahawks
This week’s top sleeper comes at the unfortunate expense of both Kenneth Walker and DeeJay Dallas, who are both trending downward heading into the Seahawks’ matchup with the Carolina Panthers. Enter Travis Homer, who will assume lead back duties if both backs miss.
Homer has shown flashes of explosiveness and quickness in the limited opportunities he’s had, and he might get a full game to be the starter and receive the bulk of the work against the Panthers who allow the ninth-most fantasy points per game to running backs. He should be a solid start if both Walker and Dallas indeed miss.
