3 Vikings to blame for Week 14 loss to Lions:  Jalen Reagor, Wide Receiver

Wide receiver Jalen Reagor was acquired by the team this offseason. The 2020 first-round pick was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles, and that allowed the Vikings to select Justin Jefferson. Reagor’s stint with the Eagles never panned out, hence why he was dealt to a new team. Minnesota opted to give him a shot.

The worst thing you want to do is motivate your opponent. Well, that’s exactly what wide receiver Jalen Reagor did in the lead-up to the big rivalry game.

When asked about potentially clinching the division title in Detroit by Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Reagor confidently declared “we’re going to win.” Not just that, but Reagor said he had “no doubts.”

About that.

Reagor provided the bulletin board material needed for the Lions, as they never trailed the game once. Minnesota tried sneaking back into the game late in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough.

As for Reagor, he received one target on the day, but didn’t log a reception.
