Potential Opening Day lineup for Atlanta Braves (as the roster) stands now

Ronald Acuña Jr, RF

Michael Harris II, CF

Austin Riley, 3B

Matt Olson, 1B

Sean Murphy, DH

Travis d’Arnaud, C

Ozzie Albies, 2B

Marcell Ozuna, LF

Vaughn Grissom, SS

Manager Brian Snitker has plenty of options with Murphy, and it’s very possible that the Braves will platoon him and d’Arnaud behind the plate next season. That being said, Murphy served as the Oakland designated hitter in just 30 games last season. Look for that number to go up in Atlanta.

Also, Braves fans will be glad to get Ozzie Albies and Ronald Acuña Jr. back in the lineup and healthy for 2023. Snitker gave a solid report on the health of Albies at the recent MLB Winter Meetings, and Acuña looked powerful in his at-bats in Venezuela this offseason.

Sure, it’s a solid lineup, but what could it look like in an even more improved state? Let’s look at a potential Atlanta “dream lineup.”
