3. Isiah Pacheco, RB, Kansas City Chiefs (vs. HOU)

Even before Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Chiefs rookie Isiah Pacheco was taking over the backfield. His rumbling and punishing style of play has been enjoyable for Chiefs fans and NFL fans alike, as he is one of the NFL’s angriest runners. That was put on full display as he trucked Denver defenders for a game-clinching first down in Week 14.

Pacheco has ceded a lot of the passing down work to veteran Jerick McKinnon, which hurts his overall upside. Still, he’s seen at least 13 carries in five-straight games, which gives him a pretty stable floor.

Pacheco’s matchup against the Houston Texans is one of the more favorable ones of the season for the rookie, as the Texans allow the most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Pacheco can be comfortably started in 12-team leagues as a solid RB2.
