Buffalo Bills clinching scenarios

The Bills hold the top seed in the AFC, as they defeated the Chiefs earlier this season to hold the tiebreaker. The thing is, the division title won’t be in contention this week, given how well their rivals in the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and Jets.

Speaking of the Dolphins, that is who the Bills are facing this week. Specifically on Saturday night, so keep that in mind football fans. Here’s how the Bills can secure a spot in the playoffs this week:

  1. Bills win vs. Dolphins or
  2. Bills tie vs. Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers loss vs. Tennessee Titans or
  3. Bills tie vs. Dolphins and Jets loss vs. Lions and Patriots loss vs. Las Vegas Raiders or
  4. Bills tie vs. Dolphins and Jets loss vs. Lions and Patriots tie vs. Raiders and Chargers tie vs. Titans

Bills fans will like the team to clinch a berth the easiest way possible, and that’s to beat the Dolphins in snowy Orchard Park.

Kansas City Chiefs clinching scenarios

The Chiefs didn’t make things too easy last week. Facing off a Denver Broncos team that drastically underperformed this season. Even the word “drastically” doesn’t do justice to how badly the Broncos have played after making the trade for quarterback Russell Westbrook. Yet, the Chiefs kept them in the game after three interceptions thrown by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Kansas City was ultimately victorious, holding on for the 34-28 win.

For Kansas City, they have the opportunity to not just clinch a playoff berth, but also their seventh-consecutive AFC West title.

Here’s how the Chiefs can clinch the division:

  1. Chiefs win vs. Texans or
  2. Chargers loss vs. Titans or
  3. Chiefs tie vs. Texans and Chargers tie vs. Titans

Kansas City can clinch a playoff berth in the following ways:

  1. Chiefs tie vs. Texans and Jets loss vs. Lions and Patriots loss vs. Raiders or
  2. Chiefs tie vs. Texans and Dolphins loss vs. Bills and Patriots loss vs. Raiders and Jets tie vs. Lions or
  3. Chiefs tie vs. Texans and Dolphins loss vs. Bills and Jets loss vs. Lions and Patriots tie vs. Raiders

The Chiefs fanbase has to hope that the team doesn’t call into a trap game against the Texans like the Cowboys did the week prior.
