NFL Draft rumors: New York Giants take Jalin Hyatt

In case anyone was asleep at the wheel and didn’t know this, the New York Giants don’t exactly have an elite wide receiver group. Matter of fact, it ranks quite low. As such, there comes a need and time where they invest in the group, at least one player. Hyatt could come in right away and provide a spark for Big Blue.

Hyatt is known for making big plays and catching deep passes. The Giants need someone like that to be able to get over the top of the defense and make a play. Moreover, outside of Saquon Barkley, no one on the Giants is threatening to take over the game. Additionally, Brian Daboll knows what an elite offense looks like. He will need more pieces to make that happen.

What he decides to do with Daniel Jones remains to be seen. It is entirely plausible that New York opts to go with a different signal caller. That said, the offensive line needs help, and the wide receivers need help. Adding Hyatt would be a step in the right direction.
