DraftKings NFL 2022: Best daily fantasy lineup for Week 16
TE: Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers ($4,000)
It may surprise some people that Pat Freiermuth is fourth among tight ends in receiving yards, only behind Travis Kelce, T.J. Hockenson, and Mark Andrews. He’s had a solid season, including in fantasy football where he ranks as the overall TE6 on the year.
This week, the ‘Muth’ takes on the Las Vegas Raiders, whose defense has been rough this year. They’re allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends, making Freiermuth a value pick this week.
FLEX: Jamaal Williams, Detroit Lions ($5,200)
Even with D’Andre Swift on the team, Jamaal Williams remains the most consistent option in Detroit’s backfield. He still leads the league in rushing touchdowns with 14, and is the overall RB14 on the season.
This week, the Lions take on the Carolina Panthers, who allow the 12th-most fantasy points to running backs this year. Since the Lions have been playing competitive ball, that has allowed Williams to continue to find the end zone. He’s a solid flex play this week.
D/ST: Cincinnati Bengals ($3,400)
Part of Cincinnati’s red-hot play as of late has been the play of the defense led by Lou Anarumo, who is figured to get looks as a potential head coach in this year’s cycle. They shut down Tom Brady and the Bucs last week, and have a chance to do the same to New England’s struggling offense. They’re a good value at the price this week.
