4. Jamaal Williams, RB, Detroit Lions (vs. CHI)

Jamaal Williams finally saw his first game without at least 10 carries last week, but that was largely due to an unforeseen blowout at the hands of the Carolina Panthers. The game got away from Detroit, and they were forced to pivot from the NFL’s league-leader in rushing touchdowns.

Still, Williams ranks as the overall RB17 in PPR scoring on the year, something that very few fantasy managers saw coming. He is still a featured part of Detroit’s rushing attack, and has been better overall than D’Andre Swift.

This week provides a major bounce-back opportunity for Williams, as the Lions face the Chicago Bears, who allow the fourth-most fantasy points per game to running backs as the NFL’s 30th-ranked run defense. The Lions prefer to establish the run, and Williams should have plenty of upside and opportunity this week.
