2022 NFL power rankings, Week 17: Bengals rolling, Titans reeling

The Saints made their way north to Cleveland looking to stay in the chase for the NFC South title. They spot the Browns a 10-0 second-quarter lead and took over the game from there.

Dennis Allen’s club got a Wil Lutz 23-yard field goal on the final play of the first half while Taysom Hill and Alvin Kamara ran for touchdown in the third quarter. Kamara totaled 100 yards from scrimmage and the aforementioned TD. The Saints ran for 152 yards.

The Buccaneers looked to avoid a third consecutive loss as they took on the Cardinals on Christmas night at Arizona. Tom Brady threw for 281 yards and one TD, but he was also picked off twice for the third straight game.

The Bucs’ defense harassed Cardinals’ quarterback Trace McSorley into three turnovers. Todd Bowles’ team erased a 16-6 fourth-quarter deficit with the final 13 points of the game, including Ryan Succop’s field goal in overtime.

The Silver and Black were in the Steel City on Christmas Eve night to take on the Steelers. Josh McDaniels’ club took the opening possession and marched 72 yards in 14 plays to take a 7-0 lead. The Raiders came up with only a field goal the rest of the way as the team’s offense managed only 129 yards the remainder of the game.

Derek Carr started strong but was sacked three times, and the veteran quarterback was picked off three times in the second half.
