Josh Jacobs rumors: Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have gotten a breakthrough season from Miles Sanders this year, as he has 1,175 yards (fifth in the league) with 11 touchdowns on the ground through 15 games. But like Jacobs, Sanders is going to be a free agent and he may find a nice payday elsewhere.

Howie Roseman is one of the most aggressive general managers in the NFL  with no move seeemingly ever completely out of the question and no stones unturned. While bringing Sanders back will surely be on the radar if the price is right, Jacobs has a better resume and is just simply a better back. Even coming off a season where the Eagles are in line for the No. 1 playoff seed in the NFC and they may make a deep playoff run, Roseman will not rest if there are opportunities to add or upgrade talent.

An offense led by Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Jacobs, with one of the league’s best offensive lines doing the blocking, would be among the most versatile and dangerous in the NFL.

In Philadelphia, Jacobs would find a team with high aspirations every year and the structure in place from the top down to make every effort to pay off those aspirations. The direct opposite of the Raiders, you might say.
