Steelers: Re-grading every draft pick of the last 5 years

Grading the Steelers 2022 NFL Draft
Grading Steelers 2022 first-round pick: QB Kenny Pickett – N/A
I am not grading a rookie quarterback. It’s just too soon to make a proper evaluation. In the 2021 class, we saw Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence take major step forwards in their second season, while Davis Mills and Mac Jones slightly regressed.
Grading Steelers 2022 second-round pick: WR George Pickens – A-
Pickens is third among rookies in receiving yards per game, and he has made some unbelievable highlight catches. Pickens has all the tools to be an elite wide receiver in this league.
Grading Steelers 2022 third-round pick: DE DeMarvin Leal – C
Leal has not made a huge impact, yet. In nine games, he has nine combined tackles.
Grading Steelers 2022 fourth-round pick: WR Calvin Austin III – N/A
Austin was placed on the injured reserve in September. He has not made his NFL debut, yet.
Grading Steelers 2022 sixth-round pick: TE/FB Connor Heyward – B
In 15 games, Heyward has nine receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown; he also has one rush for 21 yards. It’s an encouraging start for the versatile player.
Grading Steelers 2022 seventh-round pick: LB Mark Robinson – C
Robinson has appeared in two games this season playing sparingly.
Grading Steelers 2022 seventh-round pick: QB Chris Oladokun – F
Oladokun was cut during the offseason. He is on the practice squad of the Kansas City Chiefs.
