3 Raiders players who won’t be back in 2023

Raiders players who won’t be back next season: Derek Carr
Could this be any more obvious? The 9-year veteran and longtime Raider was told he would be benched for the final two games of this season in favor of the younger Jarrett Stidham. Not only was he benched, but Carr was told he would be inactive for these two games.
That’s a nice way of saying, “Thanks for all your hard work over the years, but this is over.”
To be disrespected like that, over the course of two games that bear no weight for the franchise, is a low blow. It is clear Las Vegas is going to move on at this point, but in which direction is the real question?
Carr may be out at the end of the year, but do the Raiders go after another veteran, or do they try and trade up for one of this year’s top rookies?
Additionally, how do the Raiders part with the veteran quarterback? They can save $29 million and be out just $5 million in dead cap if they were to cut him, but should a trade partner emerge, one would assume the Raiders will try and get something in return.
