Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes teamed up on Twitter and offered prayers and support for Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin after the scary ordeal on Monday Night Football.

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin is reportedly in critical condition after suffering a cardiac arrest Monday night during a game against the Bengals, and players and fans around the league are praying endlessly for his health and his family.

Among those expressing support are two of the game’s greatest quarterbacks, Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs. Both quarterbacks took to social media to offer prayers and support for the young Bills’ safety, the Bills organization, and the Cincinnati Bengals as well after this horrific ordeal.

For those who may not have seen the game, while making a tackle on Monday Night Football, Hamlin got up from the play and immediately collapsed right after. Trainers rushed onto the field in Cincinnati, and eventually, an ambulance drove onto the field and carried Hamlin away to a local hospital.

CPR was administered as a horrified audience at Paycor stadium, including Bengals and Bills players, looked on. The game was eventually postponed as both sides made their way to their respective locker rooms, neither one having any intention of continuing the game.

Bengals captains, including quarterback Joe Burrow, made their way to the Bills’ locker room and offered their support for the visiting team. Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs made it a point to go to the hospital to check in on Hamlin, showing the love players have for one another.

On Monday, Jordan Rooney, Hamlin’s marketing rep, provided a statement regarding the current status of Hamlin, who is “continuing to fight.”

This writer’s thoughts and prayers will continue to be with Damar Hamlin, his mother, Nina, his family, and the entire Buffalo Bills organization. Support is also expressed to Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, who was also impacted by that play, and prayers are expressed to him and the Bengals organization for this horrific ordeal.
