Ken Dorsey

Last year, the Buffalo Bills lost their offensive coordinator to the New York Giants, as Brian Daboll was clearly more than ready for a head coaching gig.

This year, their backfill, Ken Dorsey, could be snatched as well.

Buffalo hasn’t missed a beat with Dorsey filling in for Daboll, as they’ve remained in the top five in both points and offensive yards. It helps when you have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL under center in Josh Allen.

Dorsey’s time as an offensive coordinator might be short, but he’s been in the building since Sean McDermott was hired by the team. Previously, Dorsey was a quarterbacks coach, taking a similar path as Kellen Moore with the Cowboys.

Dorsey was made infamous for his meltdown early this season in a loss to the Dolphins. You could take that one of two ways: Maybe he’s unfit for a job as high-pressure as a head coaching gig. Or you could view that as passion needed for anyone taking on such an important role.

Whatever your read on it, Dorsey is worth calling. He has a solid relationship with Josh Allen, which, as you may be picking up already, is a needed quality for whoever takes over in Los Angeles since such an important part of their job will be getting buy-in from Stafford.
