3 reasons the Packers shouldn’t want Aaron Rodgers back

Why should the Packers move on from Aaron Rodgers? Jordan Love
How long are the Packers really going to put this off?
Jordan Love has improved in practice and that has translated to on-field success when called upon, especially this season. Even Aaron Rodgers was impressed, and praised Love on multiple occasions. This included after his final game of the year, when he said he believes Love has the skills to be a productive NFL player for a long time.
Of course, we won’t know if Love is an above-average starting QB until we see him on the field for a prolonged period of time. It’s the same question fans asked of Aaron Rodgers until 2008, when Green Bay and Favre finally parted ways. The same decision is near for the Packers, only this time with Rodgers giving way to Love, if the organization is forced to make that decision.
On Friday, Brian Gutekunst said that Green Bay would be honest with Rodgers if/when that conversation comes, though it hasn’t occurred yet.
While plenty of pundits argued with the decision to draft Love in the first round at the time — and the jury is still out on whether that was the right call — we’ll never know if he doesn’t take the field. Love has sat enough. Give the kid a chance.
