2. Dak Prescott will throw two interceptions

This has not been a standout year for Prescott. He’s a quarterback that’s historically prided himself on protecting the football. Throwing 15 interceptions in just 12 games illustrates just how much he’s struggled during the regular season.

His struggles against Washington in the regular season finale will send a signal to Tampa Bay’s defense that blood is in the water. They will be ultra-aggressive anytime Prescott drops back to pass. That will give Dallas a chance to hit some big plays, but it’s also going to force Prescott to make some risky throws.

The end result will be two more picks for the Dallas quarterback. It’s important that Prescott makes sure his risky throws are pushed deep down the field. Getting picked off by a safety over the top on a 40-yard route is excusable. Getting a quick out jumped for a pick-six could be fatal for the Cowboys.

Prescott is going to get too much credit or blame for how Dallas performs in this game. Such is the nature of playing the NFL’s most important position. Cowboys fans will hope his yards and touchdowns outweigh his interception total in this playoff encounter.
