The Jacksonville Jaguars came back in a huge way on Saturday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Who do they take on next?

It looked like the Jacksonville Jaguars were done for before the first quarter had ended. Playing in its first playoff game since 2017, the Jags fell early and saw their young quarterback throw three interceptions in the first quarter.

Then, the Chargers showed them how to really collapse, creating opportunity after opportunity for the Jaguars to take advantage of. Ultimately, the Jags overcame a 27-point deficit and won the game on a last-second field goal.

With that, the Chargers: Done. The Jags: Movin’ on.

Who do they take on next?

Who do the Jaguars play next in NFL playoffs after beating Chargers?

There was no straightforward answer to this question until Sunday’s games were over. Since the Jags are seeded fourth, they would play the Kansas City Chiefs if Sunday’s games involving the higher-seeded Buffalo Bills (2) and Cincinnati Bengals (3) went as expected.

Indeed, that was how things played out. Buffalo started off the day by holding off an upset from the rival Dolphins and the Bengals did the same — both playing against backup quarterbacks — to advance.

That means that Trevor Lawrence and his first taste of the postseason will now take him to Arrowhead Stadium next week where the Jaguars will face off with the No. 1-seeded Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.

The Divisional Round matchup between the Chiefs and Jaguars will be on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 4:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Peacock, per the schedule released by the league on Sunday night.
