Best fit for Tom Brady: Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders are a slightly better fit than the Niners simply because they feel somewhat directionless and, as such, are entirely malleable to a Tom Brady addition.

With Derek Carr out as starting quarterback after nine years as the starter, the Raiders will look elsewhere for their next one. And that will be… who exactly?

Your guess is as good as ours. The Raiders have talent that Brady can work with. Davante Adams is obviously a capable weapon. He had a league-leading 14 touchdowns and over 1,500 yards this season with Carr, imagine what he could do with Brady! In the backfield, Josh Jacobs made a Pro Bowl and All-Pro First Team this season.

Brady is also familiar with head coach Josh McDaniels, who maybe should be fired after a dismal showing this year, but probably won’t be. The two worked together in New England when McDaniels was on Bill Belichick’s coaching staff.

The Raiders do not have the existing offensive talent the Niners do, but they definitely have the flexibility to build themselves around Brady, whereas San Francisco may not be quite so willing. That was the idea in Tampa, too, though, and that didn’t quite go to plan this season.
