3 Lamar Jackson trade destinations that haven’t been mentioned yet, No. 2: Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans could be an intriguing team to follow this offseason. They traded away their top wide receiver in A.J. Brown last offseason, and it really hurt the Titans chances. Even so, the team was still in contention for a playoff spot, sitting at 7-3 on the season at one point. But then, they began to crater.

During that skid, they lost quarterback Ryan Tannehill to a season-ending ankle injury in Week 15. That only hurt their chances. They started rookie Malik Willis against the Houston Texans in Week 16, and he didn’t look good at all. The Titans then pivoted to Joshua Dobbs, who they signed as a free agent, and he performed admirably. However, a brutal fumble in the win-or-go home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18 clinched their seventh-straight loss and eliminated them from playoff contention.

Tannehill is going to be 35-years-old entering the 2023 season. It may be time for the team to retool, especially with a new general manager coming in. But, this is a team that still has running back Derrick Henry, who has shown throughout his tenure that he can single-handedly win games for the Titans.

Bringing in Jackson would be a massive upgrade for the Titans. The thing is, they will need to improve the wide receivers room and bring in some offensive line help as well.
