1. Breanna Stewart could jumpstart the New York Liberty

The most popular scenario for Stewie is the New York Liberty. Last year the New York native took a meeting with the Liberty. But the team was not able to seal the deal with the future Hall-of-Famer.

Stewart should consider New York as an option because of their current roster build and the star power of Sabrina Ionescu. The Liberty has a young roster full of talent but a veteran presence of Stewie could jump-start the rebuild, especially after they completed a trade to land Jonquel Jones.

New York finished the 2022 season as the seventh seed with a 16-20 record. The Liberty lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Chicago Sky. Stewie is a native of New York and would possibly love the opportunity to win a title in her home state.
