Predicting the best free agent the Miami Dolphins will sign: Teddy Bridgewater, QB
With the way the season went for the Miami Dolphins, the last thing they can do is take a chance on a quarterback. Tua Tagovailoa’s health is in serious question after multiple concussions this season, and Skylar Thompson isn’t necessarily the answer for a backup position just yet.
Teddy Bridgewater may not seem like a big-time move. But, continuity is something not to be overlooked. The leadership Bridgewater brings to this team, plus the steady presence as a backup and potential fill-in starter is highly underrated.
Teddy knows the offense. He has the trust of his teammates and coaches. Keeping him around should be a top priority for Miami, who could be without Tua longer than they would like. Heck, some people have even brought up the idea of Tua’s career ending far sooner than he would have liked. Above all else, his health comes first, and the Dolphins have to give themselves the best backup plan possible.
Miami should look to add some pieces on defense as well, but there might be no more important signing for them this spring than bringing back Bridgewater.
