Texas A&M has a lot of problems, but would Jaden Rashada even be a solution?

No team achieved less with more last season than Jimbo Fisher’s Texas A&M Aggies. He may be able to recruit top-tier players across the country with the help of NIL, but no program took a bigger hit last fall from a perception standpoint than Texas A&M. Not only did the Aggies retain Fisher, but they hired another persona non grata to be their offensive coordinator: Bobby Petrino…

However, Petrino was able to elevate the play of his quarterback, whether that was during either Louisville stint or in his early years with Arkansas. Regardless, Rashada would be playing on a big-time stage in the SEC over in College Station. His stock could hit its apex collegiately if he helped bring the Aggies back from the dead. Unfortunately, this is a team not worthy of being attached to.

Plus, Texas A&M has a promising quarterback on campus already in the form of Connor Weigman.

It would be absolutely hilarious if Jaden Rashada actually went back to Miami

Look. Miami finds itself between a rock and a hard place currently. The Hurricanes may have hired former offensive lineman Mario Cristobal away from Oregon, but even he could not get Miami to a bowl game in year one. With Tyler Van Dyke struggling under center and Jake Garcia hitting the transfer portal, there may be a pathway back to Coral Gables for Rashada if he wants to go there.

NIL will probably play a factor in getting him to go back to Miami, but the Hurricanes are one good season away from almost thinking about being The U again. Miami is making a firm commitment to being excellent on the football field again. Though these things take time, having a five-star quarterback to help rebuild a program around is not the worst thing in the world if you are Miami.

In dire need of some juice, signing Rashada could be a big step in the right direction for the Canes.
