Bold predictions for Eagles vs Giants: A.J. Brown will score two touchdowns

Brown has played like a man on the mission this season after being dealt from the Titans to the Eagles in the offseason. It’s only natural to assume his effort level will go up another notch as the postseason rolls around.

The Eagles’ offensive staff should work hard to make sure Brown is matched up in single coverage as often as possible. Adoree Jackson returned for New York last week, but Philadelphia should still test his ability to stay with Brown on deep routes early and often.

Count on Brown to hit the Giants’ secondary with at least one long touchdown over the top. New York will keep safety help in place for as many snaps as possible, but Philadelphia’s ground game will make that untenable as the game motors along.

Brown’s second score will come on a crossing route closer to the goal line. It’s a throw that Hurts makes really accurately and Brown’s body positioning makes it an easy completion for his quarterback. Giving up two scores to Brown is something New York will try hard to stop, but ultimately he’s just too good for their defense to handle.
