LeBron James is listed on the Lakers injury report for Tuesday, Jan. 24. Will he be able to play tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers?

The Lakers have begun turning things around, winning two in a row after dropping four of their previous five games. A historic comeback win over the Portland Trail Blazers has them riding high and tonight’s game against the Clippers is another chance for them to make up ground in the Western Conference playoff race.

LeBron James was a beast against the Blazers, putting up 37 points and 11 assists, but he’s been dealing with nagging injuries and he’s listed in the Lakers injury report for today. The Lakers are 4-6 in the 10 games LeBron has missed this season and whether or not he’ll be in the lineup is the biggest question mark hanging over this game.

Will LeBron James be available to play against the Los Angeles Clippers?

LeBron is listed as questionable with left ankle soreness. It’s not a sure thing but it seems likely he’ll be good to go tonight. He’s played in six straight games and was on the court for 35 minutes against the Blazers, just a touch below his season average. He’ll also have two days of rest before this one.

The Lakers will be without Anthony Davis who is still recovering from a stress injury in his right foot. They completed a trade yesterday, landing Wizards forward Rui Hachimura for Kendrick Nunn and three second-round picks. It’s unclear if he’ll be available to make his Lakers’ debut.

The Clippers are expected to have both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard in the lineup. Luke Kennard and John Wall are the only two regular rotation players for the Clippers listed on the injury report.
