1. Jalen Hurts will rush for over 100 yards

Savvy teams like the Eagles go to great lengths to protect their mobile quarterbacks from taking big hits during the regular season. The proverbial gloves are going to come off for Hurts heading into the Super Bowl. Expect Philadelphia’s offensive staff to work plenty of designed runs into the game plan against Kansas City.

It’s not out of the question to expect Hurts to tuck and run the ball at least 10 times during the Super Bowl. His designed runs will put pressure on the Chiefs’ front seven to maintain gap integrity at all times. One wrong read could free Hurts for a long touchdown on the ground.

The real challenge for Kansas City defending Hurts in this game is when he drops back to pass an decides he doesn’t like what he sees. That’s when Hurts can tuck the ball and quickly transform from quarterback to one of the most dangerous running backs in the league. The Chiefs may be forced to play more zone than they’d like just to avoid opening up running lanes for Hurts via man-to-man coverage.

This game has a real chance to turn into a seminal moment in Hurts’ career. He can hurt Kansas City with his arm, but it’s his legs that should propel Philadelphia to victory. Popping one long run that gets him over the 100-yard mark on the night should be enough to break Kansas City’s back in a narrow win for the Eagles.
