Los Angeles Dodgers sign David Peralta

Free-agent outfielder David Peralta has passed his physical with the Los Angeles Dodgers and his one-year, $6.5 million contract is official, according to a source familiar with the deal. The deal also includes $1.5 million in incentives.

Arizona Diamondbacks sign Andrew Chafin

Free-agent reliever Andrew Chafin and the Arizona Diamondbacks are in agreement on a one-year, $6.25 million contract that includes a club option for 2024. Chafin has passed his physical and the deal is official, sources say.

Here’s a full breakdown of the deal, per source:

2023: $5.5 million.

2024: $7.25 million club option ($750K buyout).

Incentives: $250,000 for 55, 60, 65, 70 games; $250,000 if he’s traded.
