MLB predictions: Washington Nationals

The young rotation lives up to the hype.

It’s going to be a tough season for the Washington Nationals. They are highly likely to finish at or near the bottom of the division. But the 2023 season will be a significant building block for what they are attempting to build.

Just look at their young starting pitchers, which includes Josiah Gray, Cade Cavali and MacKenzie Gore. Each pitcher has the ability to be a frontline starter – Gore had been mentioned as the best pitching prospect in baseball after being drafted No. 3 overall by the Padres in 2017 — and I fully expect each pitcher to tantalize fans with what is potentially to come.

And that could be one of the best young rotations in baseball in the not-too-distant future.
