3 quarterbacks who can save the Packers from going all-in on Jordan Love

Derek Carr

Things obviously took a bad turn in Las Vegas for Carr but he’s still a quarterback with four Pro Bowl appearances and four different seasons with 4,000 passing yards to his name.

There’s no question that Carr is a starting-caliber quarterback in the NFL. He just needs a change of scenery away from the Raiders, who didn’t exactly give him the greatest or most stable platform on which to work. The head coach who drafted him was fired during his rookie season. Dennis Allen was replaced by Jack Del Rio who was replaced by Jon Gruden whose chaotic end resulted in Josh McDaniels taking over.

Playing for Matt LaFleur, Carr could revive his career while keeping the Packers from falling headfirst into a full rebuild.

He’s already met with the Saints and also reportedly has interest in the Jets and Panthers. If Green Bay woke up from their Jordan Love fever dream, maybe they’d turn his head.
