1. Josh McDaniels reunites with Mac Jones in Las Vegas, yay!

Wouldn’t Mac Jones just love Sin City? His highlight reel of dirty plays makes him an ideal cultural fit with the Las Vegas Raiders, and of course, he would also get to reunite with former Pats offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

While Davante Adams and other Raiders players may not look too fondly at this trade, McDaniels would relish the opportunity to continue working with Jones after helping him earn his first Pro Bowl in his rookie season.

The Raiders have been connected to a host of different veteran quarterbacks from Aaron Rodgers to Jimmy Garoppolo, but if they want to take a younger route, a trade for Mac Jones wouldn’t cost the Raiders too much of an investment.

In a potential trade, New England receives a 2023 second-rounder (No. 38 overall) along with a 2024 third- and fifth-rounder. Las Vegas would get their supposed franchise quarterback in Jones, who clearly has a good rapport with Daniels and could at least help the Raiders to be competitive in the AFC West.

The Raiders have no shot against the Kansas City Chiefs as long as Patrick Mahomes is playing, yet McDaniels and Jones could scheme up some sneaky wins against Staley’s cursed Chargers and Payton’s unfixable Broncos.

As a plus to everybody else in the league, Jones would be facing some of the best pass-rushers in the league in Randy Gregory, Joey Bosa, and Chris Jones, among other division standouts. He’ll get what’s coming for him.
